Application-style administration
A cleaner, more cohesive environment designed around the things site owners and teams actually do.

Meet aOS — AdminOS for WordPress. A modern administration layer being built to bring scattered WordPress workflows into one cohesive, application-style workspace. More than a dashboard redesign, aOS is a different way to manage a WordPress site.
The vision for aOS
WordPress has grown into a powerful platform, but running a site often means jumping between disconnected menus, plugin screens and inconsistent interfaces. aOS aims to make those pieces feel like one intentional system.
A cleaner, more cohesive environment designed around the things site owners and teams actually do.
A central place to work with content, media, users, plugins, themes and updates rather than a collection of unrelated screens.
Thoughtful organization and contextual tools to help people find what they need without hunting through menus.
Planned approaches to permissions and workflows that can better suit administrators, developers, clients and teams.
Surface relevant updates, notifications and site activity in an interface built to provide useful context.
A modular approach intended to grow with integrations and specialized workflows without turning the core experience into clutter.
How it is different
aOS is being designed as a modern layer on top of WordPress—not a replacement CMS, and not simply a new coat of paint on the existing dashboard.
Who aOS is for
The same WordPress foundation supports very different people. aOS is being shaped with those needs in mind while its capabilities are developed and tested.
Find the tools and information needed to run a site with less overhead.
Work with administration, maintenance and client-facing tasks in a more coherent system.
Get a clearer workspace tailored to the responsibilities and access each person needs.
